Simple question about the TV guide

Hi there,
I have a simple & honest question about the TV guide (or EPG - electronic program guide)...

Why is it displaying shows/programming info only till the next day at 8 AM ?
What's the rationale for this ?
Is it because of a technical limitation ?

It's not a technical limitation. I think they said they are working on getting them more than just one day in advance. Having only one day is annoying right now, since you can't PVR something until it shows up in the guide.

I'd REALLY like to see improvements made to the guide... This on-demand guide stuff is very irritating. The guide should be downloaded in the background in large chunks (days at a time) so that you don't have to constantly wait for channels to be downloaded every time you switch to a new page.
