I am with cogeco and calling them on Jan 23(new CRTC policy for no 30 day cancel notice) to cancel service with them on Jan 31. I go to vmedia website to set up as a new customer and select transfer of service. It asks me what day the cancellation date is. I select Jan 31. As I proceed with everything, it states that my "transfer date" will be Jan 31...
Is this possible to be same day? I don't want to pay cogeco more than I need to, but I don't want to set up a transfer, vmedia says that day, and it not go through.
