Still need Rogers cancellation number / 20 days?

Rogers now says they only need one day cancellation notice. Vmedia site says they need the Rogers cancellation number and 20 days. I asked Rogers about cancel procedure and they say call in one day before, no notice.
What's the recommended Vmedia way to switch from Rogers? Can I combine the Internet / TV bundle pricing with CC Vbox 2 month free TV deal?

If you purchase a VBox from Canada Computers, you can indeed take advantage of their 2 month free Premium Basic promotion.

Regarding a transfer from Rogers, we require 20 days to be able to process this effectively, it is actually Rogers who will approve this from their side. The best way to go about this if you'd like to take advantage of the CC offer, is to call Rogers and ask for a cancellation date that is a minimum of 20 days out (ex: Jan 27), then go to CC and purchase a VBox and either sign up in store, or give us a call so we can process your order by phone.
