Home Phone with Fax support

I've been very happy with VMedia and have started preaching it to family and friends. My dad has a massive bill with Cogeco and looking to try something new for internet, TV and home phone. Here's the catch: they currently have another phone number attached to the phone line with a unique ring ("identicall") that a fax machine answers.

1. Does VMedia support this scenario?
2. Does VMedia Home Phone allow for sending/receiving faxes at all?

I do not know if it does or not, but I have used these guys for my faxing, works well.

Fax over VoIP is spotty at best. You are better off recommending a fax service as bdearlove has suggested.

Hi rock thanks for your kind comments. I think that bdearlove and synack have it right, we are not confident about being part of a fax solution right now. I will ask but we have disclaimed the ability to provide the service.
