Questions from some one in COGECO CABLE Land

I'm in COGECO CABLE Land and am looking for information on CABLE internet and VoIP Home Phone!
What make & model is the VoIP adapter you send out and does the $49.00 include shipping?
Do you offer a Wi-Fi modem? OR a combined modem/Router and If so what make & model?
Is that a charge for moving up in speed say form Cable60 to Cable120 also is there a charge for reducing speed say form Cable120 to Cable 60?

Currently and for the next few days I'm unavailable to take calls. In calling many providers I was given misinformation by many CSR's and started calling multiple times to check or gain correct information and then found CSR's online were the most knowledgeable with the most up-to date information and certainly if an issue arises later on a record of the information given exists here in writing.

Looks like Vmedia will most likely be our CABLE provider in Cogeco land for Internet Cable & home phone as mentioned above I just need a few more hard facts before making my decision on the internet speed and hardware/adapters used.

One further question as I found a VoIP phone at CC the Grandstream DP710 a VoIP DECT phone supported by Vmedia and wondered as we also need an actual phone/handset does this handset also require the adapter or is it OK on its own with out the VoIP adapter?

If you want to upgrade or downgrade your internet speeds on Cogeco platform, currently there is a $10 fee.

DP710 Grandstream can only be used as an additional handset with DP715. You will not be able to use it the the DP701 Adapter.

Thanks so much I see you offer the first month FREE is that just for the VoiP Phone? OR do you also get the first month free of Cogeco CABLE internet?

I was passing by a CC store on Monday and stopped in to pick up both a Adapter & a modem, but the store didn't have the correct modem in stock, no stores had a Thompson modem suitable for Cogeco Land in my area!
