These problems are getting stupid now. VOIP has been sucking for me for the past 2 days. Randomly disconnects. I've restarted it, pressed the reset button for 10 seconds. I will definitely be moving my phone service if this keeps happening.

I understand them messing up iptv, its still new, theres gonna be problems for sure. But phone? There are literally like 20 other voip providers, its been around for like 10 years, and I'm pretty sure they are all cheaper too. this is just getting stupidly ridiculous.

I contacted customer support, it's a simple set-up issue with the device - looks like it occurred because Grand-stream updated their firmware settings. They needed to remote into my computer to access the settings and changed what needed to be changed.
They had me back up in about 10 minutes without issue.
Give it a try!

Ugh, I am in the exact same boat right now. Did the reboot as per the instructions last night...didn't check to see if it still worked last night. My girlfriend wakes up this morning anxious to call her family back home in France for Christmas morning and gets the "device not registered" nonsense. I contacted support by email, but really don't know what to expect today.

I have been with vmedia for a little over a month now and the experience with the vbox TV service has been pretty bad, and my internet connection speeds are nowhere near what I pay for. However, by far, the worse thing they have done to me is take away my phone service on Christmas Eve, and again now on Christmas day. Shame on you for upgrading firmware at, of all times, Christmas. And shame on you Vmedia for not posting how I can resolve this issue. I have been trying to keep and open mind about this, but to be honest, the only reason I am not cancelling all three services tomorrow is all the money I have invested in the vmedia equipment.

Just an update. After chatting with support today and them telling me to reboot everything after I had already done that numerous times it finally appears to be working. I left home at 3pm today and it was not working....just arrived home now at 645 and it's working. Needless to say the GF will have to wait until tomorrow to call her parents. I hope this didn't impact too many other VMedia users. This update should have been rolled out on a different day.
