Micro freezing channel 28 freezes stops then fast forwards to where the audio is why is it since your last update everything worked fine now all I have is problems

Seeing this as well, it's related to encoding on this specific feed, nothing to do with firmware. Will adjust feed, should be okay momentarily.

Hi,

There are different reasons why someone may experience "micro-freezing". Local network issues, packet loss, fluctuating speeds, issues with source signal, encoding, device itself, etc. It's not possible for there to be a single "blanket fix" for all these variables. For issues relating to encoding, we are working on improving this process from our side and issues related to this process will be minimized moving forward.

With Sportsnet One currently, we are seeing dropped frames from source signal before reaching encoding, which is why there is very small audio drop intermittently. Need to reach out to channel distributor to verify feed strength. If there is issue on a single channel, it is likely issue on our end with encoding or source feed. It multiple/all channels are affected, there would likely be another underlying issue.
