Installation happen both M-F and on weekends. Risk of weekend installation is that rCable or cCable or bDSL tech may not upload updates to their backend before next day and cause delays.

They need to fix their support phone line.
I was just told the wait time was less than 2 minutes and now it is longer than 10 minutes

I called in and they cannot offer me cable in my area but they also said they cannot provide me DSL either which shocks me because I currently have DSL with ********.
            What is going on?

We are adding 5 agent/week now, we are getting a lot of calls and trying to keep up with the volume. May I have your phone number by P>M so I could have someone assist you?

It may be possible if all DSLAM cards are taken and Bell wholesale portal reports no services available. I think we can still place order under assumption your TSI DSL line will free up. Need to check with bell queue on that

                  Thanks leshka,

I PM'd you my information. Hopefully I can switch over. I would like to know how fast of DSL I can get as well.
I live directly across the road from the Bell switching station

                  Cheers

Well the saga continues... Apparently I cannot get ASDL where I am so it looks like DSL15 is the max for me.
Then the agent who was helping me (Andre is his name and he is excellent) went to put through the DSL15 and his manager said that they can likely not service me with DSL because some areas can only be serviced by ********. This makes no sense to me. They are both 3rd party providers and I would be shocked if VMedia cannot service my area since I already have ********. I have already cancelled with ******** so I am really hoping VMedia can get this order thru.
Not sure what more I can do.

Why would ******** work, but not VMedia? That makes no sense.

I totally agree. No idea why someone at VMedia would say that.
I had to phone ******** back today and reverse my cancellation until I know for sure that Vmedia can service me.

The qualifying tool on VMEDIA should be changed since it says service is available for any postal code you put in. I entered a Manitoba postal code and it accepted. I would like to know for sure too that VMEDIA can service my area with Cable internet before I sign up.

In Manitoba only phone is available.

Well it looks like I cannot join VMedia as ******** must have purchased the area I am in. Very disappointed.
******** should not be able to be the only one in an area.
I hope to be able to switch to VMedia soon
