Watch tv in web browser

Curious to see if there are plans to allow watching tv via the web browser.

I see that RivrTV customers have this option, but not Vmedia customers. Any specific reason for this?

RiverTV operates as an over-the-top streaming service with contractual agreements in place with content rights holders that differ significantly compared to those of a regulated Broadcast Distribution Undertaking (VMedia).

While VMedia could offer this functionality, the current regulatory environment and contractual agreements mean that availability would be limited to internet browsers used exclusively from the service address (VMedia Internet connection), and only a very small number of channels could be made available in this manner. We would be unable to offer this functionality for the vast majority of channels.
