Android TV Support? Release app to Play Store!

Android TV would be good, but I would even accept it if VMedia lock down the VBox and make it a 100% tailored solution. The fact that the box is built on top of a standard Android distribution introduces some strange UI inconsistencies...

To my understanding there is nothing to prevent VMedia from delivering a downloadable app to watch their IPTV on. The CRTC requirement is that VMedia's TV services be provided over a VMedia provided connection. Just like the VBox cannot be attached to any internet connection the app would need similar locks. With every Sony model TV this year shipping with Android TV, along with some Sharp and Phillips ones, plus Nexus Player and Razer Forge, an app to provide VMedia IPTV would be ideal.
